18th c. Snuff Box (SOLD)
An exceptionally nice 18th c. wooden snuff box in original blue paint..
Made from a single body of pine wood, the interior is chisel cut hollowed with a rabbet joint to accept its lid. Stoutly cut on eight sides. The lid is also eight sided with a strong chamfered edge and tenon.
Retains phenomenal blue paint with a wonderfully displayed paint history and exceptional surface history.
