19th c. Peaseware Chalice
A 19th c. peaseware lidded chalice in original finish.
Constructed of maple wood and turned in a stately form, a bulbous basin resting atop a footed base with pronounced foot. The lid features a design typical of peaseware form consisting of an inverted acorn ornamented with a small finial.
Centric rings adorn the body and lid serving as its decoration.
Retains beautiful as-descended surface qualities and remains in excellent original condition.
