19th c. Storage Box
An early storage box in original unfinished surface.
Constructed of oak wood bands and body with an eastern white pine lid and bottom. The body features an attractive array of shaped fingers, each secured with an early iron tack.
Retains a desirable as-descended surface, rich in oxidized color. Excellent as-descended condition. A choice box for the bottom of a stack or a great stand alone piece. Eccentric in form with exceptional qualities.
