A 19th c. Hanging utility box. Constructed entirely of hand cut and planed walnut wood with iron square nail joining.

 

The upper well and backboard showcase centric circles and horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines of hand drilled holes decorative holes. A canted well sits above a scalloped shelf.

 

Retains a fabulous robins egg blue painted surface with historic elements present. Remains in an excellent state of original condition. Presents boldly with a 28"T profile. Pennsylvania origin.
