Miniature Two Drawer Stand

Miniature Two Drawer Stand

A miniature 19th c. two drawer stand in original pewter and light red paint.

Construced of pine wood in its entirety. The casing comprises squared angular profiling with gently tapered legs, each pinned with a mortise and tenon joint to horizontal support ledgers. A lightly overhung top with curved edging sits atop and is secured with small wooden pins and iron brads.

Two drawers made of pine wood accompany its body, each joined with butt joinery and small square brads. Each pull features an iconic lolipop motif, proudly displaying its patina from age.

Possibly made and utilized as a cabinet makers model. Robust in its construction and delicate in appearance; displays beautifully with rich color.

Remains in an overall excellent state of original condition with some minor staining on top being consistent with its age and intended use. Surface characteristics are ideal remaining undisturbed.
