A Sheraton period miniature chest of drawers in original red paint.
 
The casing exhibits a wonferful profile with multiple scrollwork scrolls above multiple cyma recta cutouts. A double arched backboard adorns the top.
 
Four drawers made of pine wood and joijed with early iron square nail joing complete the body. Each drawer is fronted with figured birdeye maple drawer fronts and retains its original porcelain knob.
 
An excellent varnished surface is present with textured anomalies, crazing and historic properties. Excellent condition. New England origin. Ca. 1860. 17 1/2"T x 12 1/16"W x 7 1/2"D.
